What are the chances that the champions of the last two years of the NBA final would be facing each other? Clearly, the chances aren't that low seeing how this is the fourth time in the 64 year history of the finals that the reigning champs of the past two years are facing one another. There is some bad blood between the teams, and the Lakers are looking for revenge from the 2008 finals the Celtics took from them. Boston is looking to repeat what they achieved back in 2008.
Though this may be considered a battle of history, the two teams having met 11 times in the past, 9 of which the Celtics have won. Starting Thursday, it will be all about the present, not the past.
